Sport Events that didn’t quite make London 2012

I’m gripped by London 2012 and it’s opening my eyes up to sport like I’ve never even known about it before – like it’s something new. I don’t quite understand where this new found addiction for the Olympic Sport Events has come from, as until Sunday just gone (5th August 2012) I probably couldn’t have cared less. Don’t get me wrong, I actually understand just how beneficial they are for the UK (sorry… GB) and what they are doing for the general perceptions around these parts, but given the fact I live a 5 minute walk from the Olympic Village my enthusiasm for this fascinating sporting event was soon quelled by the influx of cars, buses and lost people to East London. The Saturday just gone, specifically July 21st 2012, I took a wander down to Westfield Stratford with the sole aim to spend some cash and the slight bi-product of my adventure being that I wanted to just have a sniff about and see how we were gearing up for the Olympic Games. An old complaint letter.

I’ve always been a little bit a provocative twat to say the least. A few years ago I wrote a letter to the BBC formalising a complaint towards the blatant disregard they had for children’s television and how, due to the jaded manner of there money spinning ways, my life was completely changed by the idiocy of the BBC big wigs.
